Would you like to challenge our year 1 and year 2 students to explore their creative skills and do you like working with 12 to 14-year olds who excel in hands-on learning environments? Then you are the team player we are looking for to help our students reach the next step in their educational journey. We invite you to come help our team achieve our shared goal with your creative input.

Being a teacher at Groot Goylant you teach your subject(s) but also collaborate to develop projects. Next to that you are eager to empower our students with skills important for their future lives and contribute to a safe learning environment.

We are looking for a colleague who:
- has an excellent command of English
- has good communicative skills
- is flexible
- is passionate about working with vocational students
- is happy and able to work in a team

Educational requirements and other:
- appropriate teaching qualification;
- Dutch passport or eligibility to live and work in the Netherlands;
- a “Verklaring van goed gedrag” (VOG) will be required upon appointment.

You are going to teach Visual Arts and Design Technology to year one and year two of our bilingual/international department.

You start with a temporary contract. If there is a good match between you and our organisation (and students) a permanent contract for the next school year is an option.

Groot Goylant is a Dutch school for vocational education for 12 – 16 year-old students. Our school offers three levels and various educational programmes. We also have a bilingual/international programme.
We aspire to prepare our students for their next step in education and their future life by providing a positive, challenging environment in which they acquire knowledge, skills and a healthy lifestyle.

VMBO met ambitie!

Deze school daagt leerlingen uit zich maximaal te ontwikkelen en biedt veel mogelijkheden: drie niveaus en in de bovenbouw vijf verschillende beroepsgerichte opleidingen. Leerlingen van alle niveaus kunnen zelfs kiezen voor de tweetalige opleiding waarbij ze een groot deel van de vakken in het Engels volgen. Kenmerkend voor de school zijn verder de duidelijke structuur en persoonlijke aandacht voor leerlingen.
